Our Junior Carpet Dye System has a selection of standard colors most used in the modern auto industry.

The 12 Dye System includes:

  • 12 bottles of premixed 4 oz. tints
  • Pump Sprayer w/ 6 foot hose
  • Brass wand
  • Color Guide
  • 1/2 gallon empty bottles
  • Carpet brush
  • 8 oz bottle of Red-X Stain Remover
  • Concentrated Degreaser
  • Latex gloves
  • Shop towels

Application for Stained or Color Damaged Carpet:

  • Stains: Choose a dye from the same color family as the carpet (to blend with interior), but darker than the stain.
  • Faded or Bleached Areas: Choose a dye color that is the closest match to existing carpet.
  • Color Change: Choose a dye that is several shades darker than the carpet. We only recommend using black or similar deep color over a light colored carpet.

Our dyes are mixed with tap water and leave fiber very soft (instruction are on containers). If your water is high in chlorine or minerals (hard), you may want to use distilled water.

    1. Thoroughly vacuum and shampoo carpet.

    2. Cover porous material in spray area, such as leather or velour. Vinyl may be wiped-off immediately with warm, soapy water or covered.

    3. When carpet is slightly damp to completely dry, spray just enough dye to lightly cover carpet. Use smooth, even strokes a few inches above the surface. (Spraying too close to carpet will waste product and create excess residue)

    4. Let air dry, or quick dry with air mover, and vacuum carpet.

    5. If you missed a spot, or color isn't dark enough, re-spray and let dry.

    6. Allow dye to cure 30 days before shampooing. Our dyes are permanent, but there may be a small amount of residue with the first cleaning, especially if too much dye was used in the application.

    7. The amount of dye needed per application is based on area to be covered, spray nozzle pattern (narrow or wide), and distance of nozzle from the carpet. It's always best to apply a light coat and touch-up where needed. Heavy applications create excess residue which will not penetrate fiber.
Individual colors may be ordered from our site. Do not store unused mixture. Always mix fresh dye for each job, unless you are dyeing more than one vehicle on the same day.

    EASY! Dye it yourself.

    QUICK! Takes only 20 minutes.

    AFFORDABLE! Only $9 per application.
