Convertible Top Water Proofer:

Want to water proof your car's convertible top? How about your boat? Are you shocked at how faded it looks after only two years? Are you sick of the mold forming all over the material?

Renovo Ultra Proofer product will re-establish the original 'as new' waterproof weather barrier of your fabric convertible top! With the added benefits of UV protection, plus mold/mildew growth inhibitor, water will bead instead of penetrating. This "water shedding" factor keeps dirt and mold from accumulating.

Ultra Proofer is a barrier against the weather and the sun. It can be used on any convertible material, marine canvas, awnings, or canvas patio furniture. If you use our Renovo Color Reviver, we highly suggest adding the Ultra Proofer to protect the re-color and greatly extend its durability.

Applying Soft Top Ultra Proofer:

Please Note: It is advisable to test an inconspicuous area prior to use. Some colors may appear lighter or darker after application.

Do not apply in direct sunlight. Product will dry too fast and may streak.

Be sure you have enough Ultra Proofer to coat the soft-top completely!

Apply to a clean top and dry brush or vacuum the material to remove loose dust/dirt.

Pour product into a wide mouth container or bowl.

Stir well before application.

We recommend applying with a kitchen sponge. It is faster and easier than a paint brush.

Start in the center of the top and quickly progress toward sides, front and back.

Wipe excess from paint, trim and glass with a damp cloth.

Depending on the condition of the top, Oz of Ultra Proofer is usually sufficient for two coats on an average size soft-top.

Proper Drying:

If you want to apply more than one coat, allow Ultra Proofer to dry between applications.

Let dry for approximately three hours, depending on the temperature and humidity.

Do not allow Ultra Proofer to get wet (rain or sprinkler) until it has completely dried.

Congratulations! Your soft-top is now water and stain repellent. It will resist the growth of mold/mildew and is protected from harmful Ultra Violet rays.

To ensure best possible weatherproof protection, we recommend that you apply Ultra Proofer every six months. A good time is applying the same time you wax the paint.
