Comments: We had an issue with raccoon waste in a boat for one of our customers. This was a young man returning from Iraq who had put his bass boat in storage for 2 years. His father asked that we get it ready for his return by tuning the engine, checking the trailer bearings and cleaning the hull and interior.

Much to our surprise, when we took the storage cover and wrap off, there was a salad bowl's worth of waste in the seats and carpet! Also urine everywhere, including the rod lockers. The raccoons had pulled the carpet down under the console and made themselves a home.

I contacted "TOP OF THE LINE" out of Arkansas. What a great company to work with. Not only did they supply the right products, but also the advice was invaluable on proper cleaning. We detail every boat that comes through for maintenance. Whether a quick clean on aluminum boat, or a full job on fiberglass. Never have we had this happen in 18 years with the raccoon issue.

Top of the Line was there every step of the way. It took 2 applications of the enzyme they supplied to get the bacteria under control and we have just finished and delivered the boat to the young man and his family. The boat looks great and smells like new. He had no idea what went into getting this clean.

For all he does for this country, this was the least we could do for him. A lot of time and expense went into getting this job done right. About 12 hours, start to finish. The look on the family's faces was priceless when we told them "no charge". I really believe that had it not been for Top of the Line, this job would have not been the success it was.

Comments: Just used the Blackfire Spray Gloss sealant waterless cleaner stuff after washing with your Bubble Bath shampoo, which by the way, works better then P21S and costs much less--I have yet to find a polymer that shines as good as carnauba, but this stuff comes real close (has a better shine than the Klasse Sealant and much easier to apply and wipe off) and on top of all the Trade Secret on the car-it looks brand new! The bottle does not recommend using over carnauba but you told me it works over anything and indeed it does! I used the Lexol leather products on the inside they work and smell great. Finally, the Spraway on the glass. I used to use this stuff when I was a kid in my Father's shop. I remember it smelled nice and cleaned his windows easily. It still does. Works better then anything else I have ever used on my car's glass. So thanks for all the great stuff to help me make my cars look so good. Now if I can ever get those nasty scratches out, my obsessive car cleaning will be satisfied.

Comments: I'm writing to let you know how pleased I am with the new floor mats that I recently purchased for my 2006 Cadillac SRX. The Berber mats fit perfectly and the quality is superb. I must also mention your level of customer service, which is excellent, to say the least and I'll explain why. When I placed my original order for the mats, the first set that I received did not fit. A phone call to "Top of the Line" revealed that you folks were more upset than I was. It was soon discovered that I had received "Universal" mats and that a set would be custom made for my SRX. While I was waiting for my mats, the ladies from customer service called me on two occasions to inform me of the status of my mats. My final call from Irene informed me of the costs of the mats (no change in price!), and their expected delivery date.

During these times of internet sales, purchases are at times a shot in the dark and customer service is non-existent. This is not the case with Top of the Line. You're a great company to deal with and I will use you again in the future and recommend you to my friends.

Comments: I searched the web for the best prices on detailing items and came across Top of The Line, which had the best prices by far. The quality of each item was better than I expected. I had a small problem with one of the items I had ordered, so I emailed the company, not expecting anything more than advice. I received a bit more than that. I actually received a phone call, some advice, and a brand new replacement part, as well. One can not ask for more than that.

I was also impressed when I received the shipping charges for my order. Finally, a company that doesn't take advantage of the customer with inflated shipping charges! I thought that I would be doing business again with Top of the Line. Now I know it.

Comments: We are really enjoying using our new Ninja cleaner and your fine products! I had asked you about using the ninja to remove candle wax in my carpet at home and I am happy to tell you it got 100% of the wax out using the hand tool. This spot had a lot of wax in it with several areas as big as a silver dollar. I just used the regular solution of carpet cleaner and it came out perfect. (This carpet is a "bone white" color also making it ever more of a challenge.)

Comments: I drive a large bus for the county. I stopped at a local hardware store about 6-8 months ago and bought a can of Sprayway glass cleaner. I sprayed it on my windshield, wiped it off, and my windshield was sparkling. So much so, that other drivers wanted to "borrow" my can. They were amazed! "Where did you get this stuff?" "Can you get me some?" "How much was it?"

The next day I went back to the same store and they didn't have any. They didn't seem to know what I was talking about, so I brought in my can. They tried it on a piece of glass and were amazed! "That was the last can we had and I don't think we're getting any more." I was "heartbroken! I've looked in a ton of automotive stores and shopping centers, to no avail. Then I tried the internet. Comments: I am an individual user of car cleaning and detailing supplies, and I have purchased items from TOL several times. I have always been very satisfied and they have become my default supplier for these types of items, i.e. a vendor that I will order from instantly without my usual extensive research. I always feel confidant that I will get a competitive price and quick delivery. They apparently have a large inventory and ship almost immediately.

Their usual shipping is UPS ground, which is the most appropriate for their merchandise, but I believe that other shipping options are available. I am very pleased that they charge for the actual shipping cost (many Internet vendors quote a low-ball price and then get to you on the shipping).

I have never needed to use their customer service because they have never let me down, but I believe that they would be quite responsive.

Comments: I thought I would drop you a line and give you a compliment. Last week I placed a order for some stuff that Anthony Orosco had recommended. I also mentioned I needed a product to dissolve tar without killing the car's finish. You highly recommended "Snap Seal". You were so high on this product I thought it's too good to be true. "She's just looking to sell product."

I received my order today, and started to play with the different products on my work van, which is a 2001 Ford that hasn't been washed in months. It had bugs, tar and oil from a overhead crane. I've had the van almost 4 years and it has never been waxed. I used it as my guinea pig for the different products.

I used the Snap Seal on the bugs and baked-on oil. It went on super easy and buffed off even easier. It removed the bugs and oil and left a beautifully waxed, slick finish. I also applied it to matte black side mirrors and it left a great look. It also worked well as a dressing on rubber moldings.

If that was only fooling around, I wonder how many more uses I will find once I get serious with this stuff? Irene, you did not do justice to this product when you described it. Thanks a million!!!!

Comments: The category of "ease of purchase" under rates this merchant. It should be a ten because it's just way to easy to buy from these guys (and girls). They absolutely have the overall best selection, best pricing, and best service of any of the auto detailing sites I have visited, and believe me, I've visited a lot of them.

My last purchase was a few days ago. After placing my order, I had to call about an item on my order. The lady I spoke to was most helpful in retrieving my order, and said she would make sure it got out that day, which it did. More amazing, was receiving an email saying that the buffer pads I had ordered, had gone on sale that day even though the web site did not reflect this.

She informed me that they had issued credit to my credit card for the difference. I was happy to have paid the regular price, which they could have charged, but instead gave me the sale price. This is the type of merchant I always want to deal with. I would highly recommend this merchant to everyone.

I have purchased from them several times over the past 2 years. The products perform and protect. The information on the site is complete, accurate and pertinent. But the most impressive thing about Top of the Line is the service. Irene really knows her stuff. And that is helpful when you are looking to take care of what will probably be your second biggest investment. They will offer to send by the cheapest method. So, depending of the weight and size of your order, it may come UPS or USPS. They send a follow-up email to confirm the order with UPS tracking information. And any time I have had a question about the use of a product or a problem with my car that I needed help with they have always responded quickly.

Outrageous Complaints

Complaint: Dear Miz Bernardo, Ever since I got that package from Top of the Line, I been smellin' stuff on my fingers. I smell my fingers, and I say, "Jimmy boy, you smell like you had blueberry pancakes for breakfast," but I ain't had no blueberry pancakes! Women pass me by and say, "Mmmm, Jim, you smell like blueberry parfait..." and I say, "Huh?"

Now the ONLY thing I been doin' different since these comments started to comin' is applyin' that Pizazz wax of yours to my car. FIVE coats now. I always wash my hands thoroughly afterward, but next thing I know, some gal says, "Nice cologne, Jim. Smells kinda lavenderish." And of late I been gettin' this uncontrollable urge to scoop out a dollop of Pizazz and put it right on my stack of mornin' hotcakes! Why, some ol' girl even begged to lick my fingers! Dang! So now the guys are sayin' to me, "You get a raise, Jim...?" "Nope." "You get a new car?" " I just smile, shake my head, and say, "Nope, boys, I got Pizazz." And as they stare at me with this "Come on" look, I add, "With one z..." Thanks for the bonus "cologne," Irene! Jimbo
