Menzerna Polish PO106FF |
Menzerna PO106FF Polish is Germany's most advanced polish for conventional and scratch-resistant clear coats.
This is a finishing product designed for the OEM market. It is currently being used extensively in Europe and in selected GM and Daimler Chrysler plants here in the US.
Menzerna PO106FF Polish was designed to remove very fine (3000 grit) swirls from the new, super-hard, ceramic clear coats. These are the BASF clear coats being used on the Maybach and 2004-5 Rolls Royce Phantom and PPG's CeramiClear* which is being used on the 2005 and newer Mercedes. (Check the paint code on your Mercedes. If it begins with a "C", you have a car with the new, ceramic clear coat.)
The claim-to-fame of this polish is its ability to remove very fine swirls and surface defects in one step while leaving a PERFECT, mirror-like surface. PO106FF uses a unique, extremely, extremely fine, powdered abrasive. The particle size of the abrasives in this polish are smaller than any polish, made by any manufacturer in the world. While micro-sized, these particles have an edge so sharp they can "cut" or burnish the new ceramic clear coats. Like polishing glass, the smoother you make the paint or clear coat, the greater the reflection. The limiting factor of any polish is the size of the abrasive particle used. The smaller the abrasive, the smoother you can burnish the finish.
PO106FF is designed to remove very fine (3000 grit) swirls and blemishes in the new super-hard clear coats. We do not recommend using this polish on conventional clear coats. NOTE: In Germany, this polish is being used at the OEM level on conventional clear coats but it is being used by professional paint technicians. We do not feel this is a safe polish for the week-end enthusiast to use on conventional, softer, clear coats. These are professional, OEM, products.
An OEM Professional Formula:
This is not a consumer polish. This polish was designed for the world's automakers on the assembly line, and applied with a rotary polisher. We are offering this polish because customers that prepare show and concours cars have requested it, and a few enthusiasts relish in experimenting with cutting edge products.
