Optimum Polish II |
Optimum Polish II is the most versatile, effective, easy polish you'll ever use!
A Bit of History:
Optimum Polish Excerpts from an article by Kevin Farrell on the development of Optimum Polish (with David Ghodoussi, Ph.D. President and CEO of Optimum Polymer Technologies)
"We fine tuned and adjusted the formula to give it the perfect balance and utmost performance. I exhaustively tested with different pads and various polisher speeds. I worked on various types of clear coat systems and a varying degree of makes and models. I tested on single stage paint systems and on refinish paint. I made sure the product worked well in all situations and produced flawless results.
The bottom line with any detailing product is to produce a perfect looking vehicle in a reasonable amount of time. A detailer’s skill level is extremely important, but if the products are sub par, it makes the process far more challenging and time consuming.
Is this really a “perfect polish?” We didn't want this product to be about hype and marketing, fancy names, labels, bottles, or unfounded promises. Optimum Car Polish is about performance!"
This Optimum Polish is a New Formula that refinishes even faster than the orginal!
It's a light scratch remover or a polish, depending on your choice of pad and the speed of your polisher. Optimum Polish II contains proprietary polymers and microfine polishing agents that remove (not hide) swirl marks, scratches and other blemishes on all types of paint. The one-step polish does not require a follow-up product. Just add your favorite wax or sealant and you're done!
Optimum Polish II can be used with any rotary, dual action or orbital polisher, using foam or wool pads. The versatile polish has excellent workability and will not clog buffing pads.
Optimum Polish II Features:
Removes scratches and lighter swirls, using different pads
Works with all polishers at all speeds
Will not splatter if used properly
Will not cake or gum-up buffing pads
Polishes slick moldings, plastic trim & rubber moldings
Has an unlimited working time without drying or dusting
May be used by hand
Eliminates the need for a second polishing step
Contains no silicone or wax
Meets all VOC regulations
Body shop safe
Application Directions:
Always use enough product to create a barrier between the buffing pad and the paint surface.
Wool Pads: Remove up to 1500 sand scratches at 1000-1400 RPM. Faster buffer speeds are not needed.
Foam Pads: Remove up to 2000 sand scratches with cutting pad on most paint at 1000-1400 RPM. A final finishing foam pad will remove swirl marks at 1000-1400 RPM.
Wipe-off residue by misting Optimum Car Wax, using a microfiber towel
Aggressive enough for paint correction, yet the shine, clarity and gloss this product produces only needs a final layer of wax.
