Our Universal Lake Country Grip Easy Flexible Pad Holder is designed for any polisher with a 5/8" x 11 spindle. It also comes with an adapter that fits the Porter Cable.

If you own a Porter Cable and a rotary polisher, you can now use the same back plate on both. This adapter enables any diameter back plate with a 5/8" x 11 thread receptor to be used on polishers requiring a 5/16" diameter spindle.

The Universal Back Plate was specifically designed to our size specifications. It is slightly smaller than 6" in diameter.

We've found that some 6" plates are a bit too wide for 6" - 7.5" Lake Country pads. To work properly, a back plate should easily drop inside recessed velcro backings and allow a slight overhang of the velcro on flat pads.

If any portion of a pad holder extends past the velcro backing, it can quickly cut a deep gouge in the foam. If a pad holder doesn't fit a recessed area properly, it can twist and tear the backing off the pad!

We also wanted a noticeable difference in our flexible plate. Many competitors advertise flexible plates that have little, if any, true flex. Ours is very pliable to the touch and responds to the slightest pressure. It makes polishing irregular surfaces a breeze. It seems to "float" across the surface.

The pliable construction also eases fatigue and absorbs vibration. Don't let the light weight fool you. It's steel receptor is molded into a center hub.

Use the 5 3/4" Flexible Back Plate on our 6.5" and 7.5" Lake Country Foam Pads, the 7.5" Wool Pad, and the 6.5" Microfiber Buffing Pads.
