Paint Chips

Paint chips are a real nuisance because they occur so often, and give absolutely no warning. No matter what you've been told, paint touch-up is not a permanent solution. Just a few power washings can remove the paint!

If you think an auto bra will solve the problem, you're sadly mistaken. Vibration causes bras to rub the surface. Dust gets under the bra and scratches the paint. UV radiation fades the exposed paint, but not the paint under the bra.. in short, a disaster waiting to happen.

The only solution is to cover the vehicle's vulnerable areas with a clear, chip resistant tape. The tape stays put until you remove it, it's transparent so the paint ages evenly, and dust is never a concern.

Door edges are also prime areas for chips. They seem to hit everything in sight. Door edge molding strips not only look great, they protect the door from any mishap.
