Auto Map Light
Until recently, the only practical alternative to the built-in map lamp has been a flashlight or a plug-in light that's always too far away to use. The Auto Map Light is an acrylic lens that lays on a book page, or clips to a folded map.
The clear acrylic lens also has a small round magnifying lens built into the lower right corner, and a clip to hold a map in position beneath the lens. The lamp projects light across the entire length and width of the lens, making it perfect illumination for a flat surface.
It's like using a bright clipboard to make reading super easy, regardless of light conditions inside the vehicle. The lamp get its power from the car battery via cord and 12-volt connector that plugs into the vehicle's cigarette lighter. The map light comes with a handsome case that matches our other Talus organizers.
